- I am interested in growing brine shrimp (Artemia) for fish food. Any
- info or shared experiences would be welcome. I am also interested in
- species of feeder shrimp that would work for fresh water. Can brine
- shrimp tolerate fresh water? How much salt do they need? (minimum)
-
- Brine shrimp used to be (and still may be) marketed as sea monkeys. The
- eggs are actually cysts formed when winter comes in the salt lakes. They
- are a perfect food, from what i have been reading, for young fish and
- thus very important for the fish farming industry.
-
- Thanks in advance.
