- John,
-
- I saw the same type of "plant" last night at a fish store in my
- area. Like the other netters have said this stuff had turned brown
- and look gross. These cuttings almost look like a type of pine that I
- have seen growing in the lower Florida area consisting of compressed
- needles on short branches. Though I am not sure what it is really I
- have notice a tendancy in alot of the local fish store to start
- selling tropical plants as aquarium plants. This for anybody would be
- a big mistake as pointed out by a guy who helped on my tank, since
- they will only live for about 3 months before they start to rot in the
- tank.
