  12. I am posting this for a friend who has aquired an African lung fish. She
  13. has found very little information in the books she's read regarding this
  14. fish.  What other fish are compatible with this lung fish? Can she put
  15. another in the same tank?  She has heard that it can grow up to three feet
  16. long; is this true?  Also, how can she tell if the fish is a male or 
  17. female?  She has noticed that occasionally the fish expands it's gills (?) -
  18. do you know what this is all about?
