- Hi,
-
- I collect (or try to collect) cobalt depression glass in the "Aurora"
- pattern. It has become very hard to find this pattern in the pacific
- northwest in recent years. I believe there are only 7 pieces to the
- pattern: tumbler, tea cup, saucer, luncheon plate, creamer, large bowl
- and small bowl.
-
- I have seen pictures of the small bowl in Gene Florence's book on
- depression glass, and I've talked to people at antique shows who claim
- to have seen them, but I have NEVER laid eyes on one. I also have run
- into people who tell me that there is only one bowl in the Aurora
- pattern.
-
- So, does anyone out there know about these mysterious bowls? Or better yet,
- does anyone out there have pieces of Aurora (especially the small bowls!)
- that they are interested in selling?
-
- I'm looking forward to your answers!
