- As a child, I had a friend who was an emigrant from the U.K.. He had some
- fantastic Dinky-toys which we were all quite jealous over. Always having
- been an aviation buff I can remember the several metal aircraft he had.
- In particluar I can remember this Vulcan bomber that we had tied string to
- and used to spin around in the air. Of course once we had got dizzy we stopped
- spinning around and the plane would crash into the pavement. We continued
- this game for some time until the repeated impact with asphalt took its toll
- on the Vulcan...
