-
- Is the monitor 19" or 15"? If it's 15", then it's gotta be a 4405 or 4315.
- Off hand, I can't remember how to tell'em apart, but a good first-shot is to
- "double click" the reset button on the back, to get into diagnostics.

- The 4319 tape doesn't have 4315 binaries I believe... The 4316/7 was on one set
- of tapes, the 4319 on another, and the 4315 on yet another. The 4315 is VERY
- different from the 4316/7. It has the weird panning screen, and 4kb memory
- pages. (instead of 8k, which all other 43xx's have)
-
- From a rusty memory, here's the 43xx product line:
-
- 4301 - 68020/25mhz based display-less workstation.
- 4315 - 68020/16mhz based integrated mono display (15") workstation
- 4315+ - 68020/16mhz based integrated mono display (15") workstation
- (Upgraded from 4405, basically the same as a 4315.)
- 4316 - 68020/16mhz based integrated greyscale display (19") workstation
- 4317 - 68020/16mhz based integrated color display (19") workstation
- 4319 - 68020/25mhz based integrated color display (15") workstation
- (The 4319's compute engine is more like a 4301)
- 432x - 68020/25mhz based workstation with 2D graphics (4301 + 2D graphics)
- 433x - 68020/25mhz based workstation with 3D graphics (4301 + 3D graphics)

-
- There were quite a few more than this... I personally upgraded 10 or so
- myself. Tek labs in Bld50 had a lot of them that were upgraded as well.
-
- UTek 4.x has Sun3 emulation, but only for SunOS version 3.x. It won't run
- SunOS 4.x binaries, sigh. The 4301 series has a 25mhz clock, -vs-
- the Sun 3/60's 20mhz clock.
