  15. The Design Automation and Manufacturing Research Laboratory.
  16. at The University of Western Ontario, London.

  18. Research positions are available for Research Engineers (or Computer 
  19. Science), Post Doct-orates, and Graduate Students in one or more of the 
  20. following manufacturing and mechanical design research areas:
  21.  
  22. o    CAPP (Computer aided process planning): Emphasis is in knowledge 
  23.     based methods for generative process planning for manufacturing, 
  24.     machining, and assembly.
  25.  
  26. o    Rigid and flexible multibody system dynamics and robotics control & 
  27.     trajectory planning (Analytical, computer-based, and experimental)
  28.  
  29. o    Mechanical tolerancing: GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing), 
  30.     with geometric and feature based modelling.
  31.  
  32. o    Feature based modelling for design and manufacturing.
  33.  
  34. o    Computer software development assistant: "C", object oriented 
  35.     languages (C++), and expert system programming.
  36.
