  17.         It's a hybrid between a road bike and a mountain bike.  You
  18.         can either think of it as a fast mountain bike or as a touring
  19.         bike that can go anywhere.

  21.         - Alumimum frame (main triangle), 54cm or 21in, but because
  22.           it's a hybrid you'd get a smaller frame than normal.
  23.         - dropped handlebars
  24.         - alloy 700x25C rims
  25.         - Khartoum 35C knobby but high-pressure tires
  26.         - Shimano Deore DX derailleurs and shifters (SIS).  The
  27.           shifters are at the bar-end, but you could switch to
  28.           frame-mount levers with little trouble.
  29.         - Shimano Deore DX cantilever brakes
  30.         - Shimano Deore DX bottom bracket and crankset
  31.         - Shimano 105 brake levers
  32.         - Avocet Gelflex saddle
  33.         - no pedals (I'm keeping my Ultegra platforms)

  35.         I'm selling it because I can't stand mountain bikes and this
  36.         is too much like a mountain bike.  I got it with money from an
  37.         insurance settlement after I totalled my road bike in a car
  38.         accident.  I'm going to get another road bike.  I've hardly
  39.         ridden it at all, perhaps 50km, so the it is in almost new
  40.         condition.  This bike is $1100 new.
