- I guess I missed the beginning of this, but I don't understand
- exactly WHY we need to split sci.electronics along the lines
- of 'solid-state'. I don't see much discussion about tube circutry
- anymore, and I personally would not want to be bothered scanning two
- newsgroups for my electronic info needs.

- Basically, I am in favor of new groups, but in this case, unless I
- missed something dramatic, I cannot see why this is needed or even
- desirable.
