- General Information

- The AMTEC Annual Conference brings together more than 300 participants
- from across Canada and this year, the north central USA. Participants
- represent a wide spectrum of media and technology professionals
- encompassing all levels including elementary through post secondary
- education and human resource development in public service and
- business and industry.

- A technical exhibit supplements the paper and workshop sessions so
- that participants will receive first hand knowledge of new products and
- services.

- relating to the AMTEC '93 Conference theme, Bridging Learning
- Opportunities, although we welcome submissions on all topics in

- Procedure

- Only complete proposals will be accepted for evaluation. Complete
- proposals will include two copies of the proposal forms. Session
- proposals from commercial firms will be evaluated on the basis of the
- introduction of new technologies or new processes that will be of
- interest to participants. Guidelines are available for commercial
- sessions. All proposals must be submitted to the AMTEC '93 Program
- Committee postmarked by Friday, January 8, 1993.

- After careful consideration and evaluation, the Program Committee will
- advise all prospective presenters of the status of their proposals
- early in 1993. A "package for presenters" will be sent to successful
- applicants describing details of the final session presentation.
- Completed presentation forms from the "package for presenters" should
- be returned to the Program Committee by Friday, April 16, 1993.

- A Conference Proceedings book will be available to all participants at
- the conference and will include the full text of papers and workshops
- (limit six double spaced pages) accepted for the conference.

- Author's Responsibilities
-
- Authors will be responsible for the cost of travel, accommodation and
- registration in order to present their papers or workshops. For full
- and half day pre-conference workshops where participants are charged
- an additional fee other conditions may apply.
