  25. The respondents to the poll were the people of the *.synth readership
  26. who wanted to provide input into the process, and the dispute brought
  27. more people into the process than the vote did.  Given the
  28. circumstances, it's a good bet that those who did not respond don't
  29. care about the outcome.

  31. We should try to honor the preference of the *.synth readership, and
  32. the straw poll gave us a pretty good idea of what they prefer.
