  35. I agree wholeheartedly that the tax system as it stands now (as it
  36. dodders now?) is in need of radical reform.  However, I am not at all
  37. comfortable with the idea of going to a system that is paperless and
  38. requires no taxpayer intervention.  Our situation last year was very
  39. complicated so I have first-hand knowledge of how nasty the paperwork
  40. can be; even so, I would rather do all the paperwork myself and KNOW
  41. what I paid rather than have to trust the IRS to get it right for me.
  42. It is much easier for someone to pick your pocket if they don't think
  43. you are looking...
