- I agree wholeheartedly that the tax system as it stands now (as it
- dodders now?) is in need of radical reform. However, I am not at all
- comfortable with the idea of going to a system that is paperless and
- requires no taxpayer intervention. Our situation last year was very
- complicated so I have first-hand knowledge of how nasty the paperwork
- can be; even so, I would rather do all the paperwork myself and KNOW
- what I paid rather than have to trust the IRS to get it right for me.
- It is much easier for someone to pick your pocket if they don't think
- you are looking...
