- West has been slow to get on this bandwagon, but
- they do have several packages on CD-ROM now, in-
- cluding the New York Supp. CD-ROM distribution
- has tended to be somewhat fragmented because the
- barriers to entry are very low. There are, for
- example, several small companies that distribute
- Connecticut (of all places!) cases on CD-ROM.
- Also, CCH and P-H have extensive tax libraries on
- CD-ROM now. Unless you are in a large firm with
- lots of lawyers, I'm not sure CD-ROM is cost-ef-
- fective compared to Lexis and Westlaw.
