- Because of limited police resources, murders are investigated
- more thoroughly (better?) than rapes. A murderer has a better
- chance of being caught than a rapist. To lower your odds of
- being caught (same punishment), don't do that which is
- investigated more thoroughly.

- result of his/her crime, the police would be so swamped that they
- could probably be mostly discounted or ignored by the criminals.
