- Hi! I need some help ...
-
- My six month old, Brandon, is *extremely* shy. He refuses to be
- held by anyone but mom, dad, and one of his grandmothers. If
- anyone so much as looks at him the little lower lip goes out and
- he starts bawling. It's rather embarassing at stores and when
- we go for walks cause people come up to him and want to be
- friendly and get a lower lip and crying instead of a happy baby.
-
- He had colic for the first 3 months and I held him almost
- constantly during that time. I know that you really can't
- spoil a baby that young, but I wonder if I have. I'm at home
- with him all day so I wonder if I have made him this shy from
- lack of interaction with other people. He does like other
- children, however. He really has a problem with most men and
- older women, especially the kind that wear too much lipstick.
- It's kinda funny to see his preferences.
-
- Anyway, how do I break him of this? If I as much as leave
- the room he gets anxious. And, I'm with him almost constantly.
- It can't be lack of attention, just maybe too much attention.
- Any ideas? Any comments would be very appreciated.
-
- Thanks!
