  14. We've had a potty chair sitting around, mostly gathering dust, for
  15. several months now.  Our son will sometimes sit in it (fully
  16. clothed) but he has not wanted to try sitting on it without clothes on
  17. yet.  He has, however, watched his best friend sit on the potty, and
  18. will often refer to that momentous occasion :-).  I decided to buy a
  19. couple of books about toilet training just to start laying the
  20. groundwork, in case the idea appealed to him.

  22. We bought _Once Upon a Potty_ and the Mr. Rogers' _Going to the
  23. Potty_ book.  My husband read the first book to Dylan, and for the
  24. first time ever, Dylan declined a second reading of a new book.  After 
  25. I read the Mr. Rogers book to him, he also declined a second reading!  
  26. I think he's on to us, so we'll just shelve the books with the rest
  27. of his library and let him decide when he's ready for some more 
  28. brain washing.  :-) :-) :-)
