- OK, confession time. I survived my first child with extremely long
- hair, but my daughter has done me in. As of last weekend, my 15+ inch
- braid is packed away with my mother's braids and her mother's braids and
- my hair is now up to my collar. Still straight, but not long.
-
- So far, no regrets from anyone (at least not verbalized). My husband
- also has a "thing" about long hair, but HE'S not the one who has to take
- care of it & try to keep it out of his daughter's mouth, etc. His one
- stipulation when I asked him how he would feel if I were to get my hair
- cut was that I not regret it in front of him. He just doesn't want to
- hear me bemoaning my loss.
-
- The kids love it & so do I. It's still long enough to Margee to grab
- hold of, but only when I'm holding her, not when I'm leaning over the
- crib to tuck her in. It's also very bouncy and she & Mickey both laugh
- a lot when I shake my head. I also like the new look & it's giving me
- incentive to make a few other changes (like diet, etc.).
