- There's hope still!! I have a 4YO boy and a 16MO girl and my hair
- is down to may waist - and as I am 5' 10" tall that`s about 2.5 ft
- of hair!!! (another hubby with a fettish about long hair!!)
- I made it through without cutting it (divorce impending was a good
- motivator :-) - just a joke!) and I'd say that at aobut 9 - 10 mths was
- when both of my two suddenly got the picture!!
-
- Actually when possible (ie depending on WHERE we were) I would immediatly
- put the baby down, unleash the hair from the fingers and NOT pick him/her
- up again.. when they would fuss (and sometimes they wouldn't and would
- crawl/toddle off quite happily - makes teaches this lesson LONG!!) I then
- said "OK, but if you pull Mummys (I'm English!!) hair again, I`m not holding
- you - IT HURTS"...
-
- It was a long teaching process - made easier the second time as I had 'help'
- from the 3 YO!!! Loved telling her, "NO NO YOU MUSTN`T PULL MUMMY"S HAIR"
- So if you and your hubby really want to keep the long hair - you CAN
- persevere and it WILL stop!!
