- I think it is one of those things where legislation got brought in to fix
- one particular problem, as a kind of knee-jerk reaction. I vaguely remember
- that there were some types of nightdress (rayon??) that would ignite
- like a roman candle, partly because the dress hangs vertically with ventilation
- both inside and outside, ideal for fast vertical flame propagation if it catches
- fire at the bottom.
