- I just came back from a trip to Houston, Texas (from Portland, OR) and I was 30
- weeks at the time I started my trip. My obstetrician didn't have any problem
- with me flying during my seventh month. I kept waiting to see if any of the
- airline personnel would say anything about me being pregnant but no one did, so
- apparently they didn't have any problems with it. Most of my weight gain has
- been in my abdomen so I am obviously pregnant. But the only person during my
- travels who even mentioned anything about me being pregnant was the woman
- driving the rental car shuttle bus in Houston.
-
- I had aisle seats every time which did help a lot and I brought extra munchies
- in my carry-on bag. The only negative aspect of the trip was my flight from
- Houston to Denver was an hour and a half late leaving Houston. When I got to
- Denver, I had five minutes to make my connecting flight to Portland. I ended up
- running the length of three gates but got on the flight. But it probably was
- not a smart thing to do since I am carrying an extra 20 lbs of weight and I
- also had a carry-on bag that probably weighed 15-20 lbs. But basically flying
- at 30 weeks was fine for me. (I took a trip from Portland to Boston and back
- in June when I was about 10 weeks and that was awful because my morning
- sickness was so bad. This trip to Houston was much better.)
