- I don't know about anyone else, but I read the "instructions" that
- come with my pills every month (they change every month, I've noticed).
- Although my doctor didn't explicitly warn me, the insert clearly states
- that antibiotics affect the effectiveness of the pills and that one
- should use another birth control method while on antibiotics.
-
- Read the inserts. If they don't say anything about antibiotics, I'd
- suggest contacting the manufacturer and complaining about it and
- strongly suggesting including such information in the future.
- If you don't get the inserts, ask the pharmacist. The pharmacy that I
- go to gives me a copy of the six-page, 8 point type insert every month
- and a smaller slip of paper with the basic warnings tucked inside the
- pill pack.
