  13. Exactly why is it important that children's sleepwear be 
  14. flame retardant?  I just don't get it.  Is it that
  15. if there is a fire in your home at night and you have to 
  16. hold the child and run through the flames to safety, you'll
  17. be glad the sleepwear is flame retardant? (This can't be 
  18. right!)  Is it the protection, then, for when they are _not_
  19. sleeping?  Maybe for when they get up in the morning and 
  20. are hanging out by the stove while Dad frys bacon?  If this 
  21. is the case, then it would make more sense that non-sleepwear
  22. be flame retardant, as it is worn much more often when the
  23. child is exposed to potentially flammable situations.  I just
  24. don't get it.
