  19. The largest collection of public domain and shareware programs for MS-DOS is
  20. maintained at the White Sands Missile Range, a site known as simtel20.
  21. Simtel20 has many mirror sites; if you're in North America, I recommend
  22. oak.oakland.edu.  Files relevant to misc.kids are in the /pub/msdos/education
  23. directory.  Remember to set binary mode before transferring files.

  26. directory.  Misc.kidsers who have access to ftp but don't know how to use it
  27. are welcome to write for help.

  30. concentrates more on games than on educational software, but there's some
  31. overlap (try Word Rescue, for example, in /msdos/Games/Apogee/1rescue.zip).
