- We had the same problem with our Disney player, and even returned one to
- the store. When the second one did it too, my wife called Mattel. The
- lady at Mattel said to put in fresh batteries and the door would work.
- It makes no sense to me (I dismantled the 1st player to get the tape
- out, and could only see mechanical links between the ``eject'' button
- and the door release), but we tried it and it seems to work.

- NiCd (rechargable) batteries are highly recommended, BTW. You'll go
- broke buying Alkalines for one of these monsters!
