- : Not if the doctor isn't worried.

- : My baby has two main hobbies. One is spitting up--the other is eating
- : twice as much as he needs so that he has something to spit up. Both
- : are lots of fun, in his opinion.
- :
- : Be glad he's breastfed--formula spit-up stinks, and makes nasty black
- : stains on clothing. Breastmilk spit-up doesn't even have an odor for
- : the first three months, and it doesn't stain at all.

- My 6+ month old has perfected the spit-up to what we call 'making
- cheese', i.e., spitting up partially digested milk, and it SMELLS.
- He's breast-fed and with starting solid (he eats everything in
- sight or he gets very upset that we are holding out on him) the
- 'cheese' he makes can be very colorful! I basically have two
- sets of clothes: work/decent clothes and baby clothes, I try
- never to touch my son while I'm in the former.
-
- : It's kind of handy, as the excess breastmilk produced in response to
- : his demand represents a reservoir for when his appetite increases.
- : During growth spurts, he hardly spits up at all.
- :
- : One gets very good with a burp cloth....
- :
-
- We call ours 'spit-up blankets' to put over the shoulders and we
- never go anywhere without at least one.
-
-
- : By the way, my baby is 6.8 months old and still a terrible spitter.
- : The end is not in sight for your friend.
