  12. A few years ago I read "Babit" (sp?), a book about a man having a mid-life
  13. crisis in the 1920's (it was published in 1922 I think).  It was very 
  14. interesting to me that the book mentions that all the "young people" were 
  15. "wild" because the listened to jazz and wore "short" dresses (ie dresses 
  16. above the ankle).  It just goes to show that every new generation does stuff 
  17. that the previous generation finds strange.  And I always think of 
  18. jazz listeners as being refined.  :-)
