- I was thinking of the same. I called Novell and I would wait until they
- come out with the new version of their Lan software next year. In the mean time
- look at OLICOM. Usually looking at a company requires research and is beyond
- the scope of this board (unless someone wants to do it for you). I would
- suggest picking up a copy of the _Investers Business Daily_ to look at the
- relative strenth of a company, etc. Good Luck.

- I'm thinking of buying shares in Novell. I have a good handle on
- their current set of products and their future direction. What
- I don't know so much of is:
-
- 1) What does their balance sheet look like? How much in debt
- are they?
-
- 2) The cohesiveness and nimbleness of their upper management. I
- know this is somewhat subjective, but any thoughts are
- welcome.
-
- 3) The specifics of their joint partership with Unix Software
- Foundation (i.e., UNIVEL)
-
- 4) If their are any rumors or thoughts out their about any future
- acquisitions by Novell - or acquisitions of Novell.
