- Please-please-please-if anyone has any advice to a desperate runner about
- how to get rid of recurrent iliotibial tendonitis--let me know!! I used to
- do triathlons but about 2 years ago during a particularly hard run my
- right knee started hurting along the outside. I kept running on it and by
- the time I was done-it has never been the same since! I have spent a
- great deal of money on rehab and surgery (arthroscopic-they went in but
- said there really wasn't anything to fix). After the surgery it got better
- for about six months and then it just started hurting during a run and now
- its been a wreck for 5 more months..I do alternate sports but sometimes it
- even hurts walking or swimming. I do toe in a lot with my right foot but
- I always have so I don't know if that is the problem.....any magic
- stretches anyone can offer or particularly great sports mechanics which
- don't cost so much that I have to choose between eating and treatment
- would be very much appreciated!--Beth
