- My husband and I are talking about whether we should buy a lot and
- build a house on it, or move an older home to it. There are a lot
- of really nice older homes that are now on very busy streets, selling
- very cheaply. It seems to me that moving a house would be very risky
- and difficult to insure (what if they drop the house!!).
-
- Anyway, we would like a recommendation for a book on having a house
- built (we'll hire a contractor, not do it ourselves), and also any
- insights on moving houses.
-
- Thanks,
- Jill
