- My husband and I recently bought a house with hardwood floors in need of
- refinishing, and we'd like to know what we'll need to do to refinish them.
-
- We know we'll need to sand them down, and then put a layer of wax or
- polyurethane or some such thing. We're also considering taking up the
- carpet in the hall and one of the bedrooms-- what does that involve.
-
- What we'd really like is a book that goes into great detail about what
- is involved, and the pros and cons of any different approaches. Any
- references would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks!
