  28. Sorry, I've been out of town & just noticed this. Jim may well be correct,
  29. but there is another possibility. These designs often (always?) have
  30. electrical heaters in the same tube bundle with the evaporator coils.
  31. This heater is supposed to periodically come on to defrost the evaporator
  32. coils. When the heater fails (and they sometimes do) the evaporator
  33. will build up heavy frost to the point that the air flow to the chill
  34. section can become completely blocked. A 3rd (but less likely) possibility
  35. is a low refrigerant charge.
