  21. By "converted", I assume you mean you'll replace the existing 2-prong with
  22. a 3-prong, attaching it to the original black & white wires and to your
  23. new safety ground. That's what I would do.

  30. If you do this and they're on different circuits, you will have transferred
  31. this outlet to the other circuit, possibly creating a slight overload. If
  32. you do this and they're on the same circuit already, you've done a lot of
  33. work for nothing.
