  12. I know that this has been discused before, but I did not pay as much
  13. attention at the time as I should have. My house is 2-3 years old, and
  14. has always done this. When water flow is stopped, (i.e. facuet turned off,
  15. dishwasher stops filling, toilet stops filling, etc) a loud bang sound comes
  16. from the pipes. Would the "air pocket" stop this? If so, where should it be
  17. installed? The noise comes from both hot and cold pipes. Also, if the air
  18. pocket will fix this, how large should it be?
