- I know that this has been discused before, but I did not pay as much
- attention at the time as I should have. My house is 2-3 years old, and
- has always done this. When water flow is stopped, (i.e. facuet turned off,
- dishwasher stops filling, toilet stops filling, etc) a loud bang sound comes
- from the pipes. Would the "air pocket" stop this? If so, where should it be
- installed? The noise comes from both hot and cold pipes. Also, if the air
- pocket will fix this, how large should it be?
-
- Any information is greatly appreciated.
