- You may find that the frozen food compartment doesn't keep things frozen.
- This is because the fresh food compartment doesn't need to run the
- compressor to keep it at the right temperature. My solution has been to
- place a night light (7watt) under the thermostate in the fresh food compartment.
- It provides enough heat to cause the compressor to cycle enough to keep the
- frozen food frozen. It is also possible for it to get cold enough to
- effect the lubrication in the compressor, in which case you may have a problem.
- But this can be solved with a 100 watt bulb under the compressor.
