  21. That hasn't been established.  There IS a significant correlation between
  22. Alzheimer's disease and aluminum deposits in the brain.  I know of no studies
  23. that have tried to check for a correlation between exposure to aluminum and
  24. aluminum deposits in the brain.  Obviously, if you never come in contact with
  25. aluminum, you won't get aluminum deposits.  However, beyond a very small dose,
  26. it's not clear that increasing exposure will affect that amount of deposits at
  27. all.  An alternative explanation of the correlation is that whatever genetic
  28. defect makes one more susceptible to Alzheimer's is responsible for increasing
  29. the amount of aluminum deposited in the brain.  In brief:  Correlation does not
  30. imply causality.
