- In yesterday's New York Times, it was reported that Robert Reich,
- one of Clinton's key economic advisors, had insufficient credibility
- because he was not "really" an economist, but a lawyer. To
- counteract this attack, Lawrence Summers is taking a leave from the
- World Bank to work with Reich. Wasn't it Summers who wrote a memo
- at the World Bank (that was leaked) arguing for the economic
- reasonableness of shipping hazardous waste to Third World countries?
