  25.    Planned Parenthood Federation of America will announce the name of
  26. a new president to succeed Faye Wattleton at a Manhattan news
  27. conference on Friday, Nov. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at the Rhiga Royal
  28. Hotel, Wintergarden Room, 151 West 54th St. (between 6th and 7th
  29. avenues).  Wattleton resigned earlier this year.
  30.    The federation's new president, who will be introduced at the news
  31. conference by PPFA Chairperson Jacqueline S. Jackson, Ph.D., will
  32. make a short statement and then take questions.
  33.    The announcement culminates a nationwide, seven-month search for
  34. an individual to head the nation's oldest and largest reproductive
  35. health and advocacy organization.  The search scrutinized nearly 100
  36. candidates, leaders in the fields of health, government, family
  37. planning, women's rights and business.
