  24. General Smedley Butler couldn't do this anymore, so he retired from
  25. the United States Marine Corps and eventually led a major movement
  26. in the United States to try to stop this kind of thing. In fact,
  27. when Franklin Roosevelt was elected President, major economic
  28. interests in the United States attempted to recruit General Smedley
  29. Butler to lead a military coup against the United States because
  30. there were large elements in the banking industry -- Jay P. Morgan
  31. and all the way up to and including the father of John F. Kennedy,
  32. Joseph P. Kennedy -- who, in fact, were EXTREMELY sympathetic to
  33. the state capitalist system that was being set up by Hitler and the
  34. Nazi Party in Germany. There were major investments being made.

  36. There were a number of books written, giving great detail about the
  37. kind of support that existed in very high-level industrial and
  38. banking circles in the United States, through the 1930s, for this
  39. peculiar concept of economics in government called "state
  40. capitalism," whereby you don't really have just simple private
  41. industry. And you don't have private enterprise and free
  42. enterprise. What you have, instead, is a system by means of which
  43. the organs of the state -- of the government -- gather tax money
  44. from the average people and they transfer it to the private
  45. companies that are owned by these few families. And they subsidize
  46. those companies, whether they be major weapons industries,
  47. ball-bearing factories, rolling-steel plants, etc.  Major heavy
  48. industry is subsized by the hard-earned taxed salaries of average
  49. working citizens. And they attempt to take away the risks of owning
  50. and running huge private businesses like that under the theory that
  51. those businesses are so big and so powerful that they need to be
  52. kept healthy and stable by the tools of the state and the organs of
  53. the state for the general health of the country.

  55. So, that's what they do. That's what they did in Germany throughout
  56. the 1930s. That was the basic thesis behind what they called
  57. "national socialism" [naziism], which was -- from a purely
  58. political science point-of-view and in economic analysis -- a
  59. system of "state capitalism."

  62. But that's also one of the tenets of this "new world order."

  65. That's exactly right!

  68. People should understand where it's coming from. The same
  69. architects of this old capitalist system are now the architects of
  70. this new capitalist system.

  79.    blows from a vicious vendetta launched by the same treasonous 
  80.    criminals, ensconced in our Federal Government, whom the
  81.    Christic Institute has been suing for egregious violations of 
  82.    United States laws -- crimes such as narcotics importation and
  83.    the terrorist LaPenca bombing, which killed American journalist 
  84.    Linda Frazier and wounded another American jounalist, Tony 
  85.    Avirgan. The Christic Institute has evidence showing that the
  86.    LaPenca bombing was perpetrated by the corporate-CIA under one 
  87.    of its officers named John Hull. The Christic lawsuit was met 
  88.    by retaliatory Federal fines designed to bankrupt the Christic
  89.    Institute and to hold it up as an example, for all to see, that
  90.    this is the punishment that citizens can expect whenever they
  91.    dare to interfere with the criminals who usurp the People's 
  92.    Government.
