- Well, I don't know what a "yard of beer" means. I'm going to
- assume you're talking about UK beer. If that's the case,
- there is (at the very least):
- King's Head in Santa Monica
- Father's Office in Santa Monica
- Barnie's Beanery (sp?) in West LA (I think ... it's on SM Blvd)
-
- In the SF Valley (in Woodland Hills on Ventura) there is
- Pickwick's
-
- A lot of UK people seem to hang out at Pickwick's. I like
- Father's because they (used to) have Sierra Nevada on tap.
- (Bud and Miller aren't the only American beers.)
-
- If you want good German beer/food, there's
- The Red Lion
- in LA on Glendale Blvd. Dortmunder Ritterbrau on tap.
- Excellent sausage platter, roast pork (I forget the German
- name), Wienerschnitzel (sp?).
-
- None of these places are "nice" per se, but they have good
- beer.
