- I did that to the tar file to get it out. But go tar -xfv tar.tar
- and all sorts of other files (like spreadsheet.file.ascii) appear.
- My OS truncates that to 14 chars, so any file which isn't unique
- in the first 14 chars gets overwritten.

- Now if there was some way to edit file names *within* the tar file, that
