  12.                 Environmental Group Helps Out

  14.     A community compost program has begun on Cobequid Road in 
  15. Lower Sackville, beside the Halifax County Correctional 
  16. Centre's ballfield thanks to a new environmental group. This 
  17. project aims to reverse and prevent damage to the environment 
  18. by removing compostable material from the landfill site. The 
  19. land now owned by Halifax County will be thought of as a 
  20. community compost pile.

  22.     Friut and vegetable scraps, left over baked goodsm tea 
  23. leaves, coffee filters and grounds, egg shells, pine needles, 
  24. grass clippings will be accepted for composting.
