  22. My name is Phil Jones from Henry County Public Schools in
  23. Southern Virginia--located aprox 50 milles from Greensboro
  24. North Carolina to the South and 50 miles from Roanoke, Virginia
  25. to the North. I am an Audio-Visual Service and Maintenance
  26. Technician for the School System. Among items I repair are
  27. computers (everthing from Apple II's to IBM's to Apple
  28. Macintoshes, to Laser 128's to Win's.

  30. In our system we use the computers generally in the classroom
  31. (typically one to a room--average class size varies from 15 to
  32. 30 per class depending upon the school) for k to 5th grade.
  33. Grade 6-8 (Middle School) and 9-12 (High School) we have
  34. Keyboarding labs. In these labs the students report for classes.
  35. In the High School setting they learn how to use such programs
  36. as WordPerfect v5.1, and Lotus 123. In Communications' and
  37. other labs we use Macintoshes and programs such as Word 5.0 and
  38. PageMaker 4.2. Hope this helps!?
