- Dennis ...:) You toggle the type of terminal by hitting f8. It gives you
- the ascii terminal. When you download you also have to choose the protocol
- as well as when you upload. Hit f7 and toggle the P for protocol to Xmodem.
- You may find that it is set to Punter which is strictly commodore BBS
- download and upload. You cannot use it on this at all. Those are two of the
- things I can think of that might have caused a problem for you. You will
- also experience a delay from the time you use f1 to upload and it begins to
- do it also the same with the download f3. If you downloaded a text file it
- will give you a sequential file on the disk and you will need to use a
- sequential file reader to read it or change it to a program file. Some word
- processors will allow you to change the file. I don't know what word pro you
- are using so can't tell you anything further than that right now. Carol
