  14. I was pleased to read your informative letter
  15. about all  Daylight Savings  in New Zealand
  16. and Australia as well as about England,
  17. Scotland, Italy and France!  It was a nice
  18. atlas-reading experience for _me_.  I will
  19. present your information to my students and
  20. guide them in analyzing your information and
  21. making comparisons with the northern
  22. hermisphere.

  24. In Spokane we enjoy having it stay light until
  25. almost 10 p.m. in the summer.  But alas, the
  26. days grow shorter every day as summer vacation
  27. draws to an end.   During our shortest days in
  28. winter it gets light around 8 a.m. and dark by
  29. 4:30 p.m.  Many people get depressed during
  30. the long dark days of winter.

  32. So think of us now.  As our days are getting
  33. colder and shorter, yours must be doing the
  34. opposite!

  38. down under!
