Hello Lisa. Nice name. Sounds familiar. What kind of cross country did you do? I'm learning this type called skate skiing. It's awesome. The traditional type is boring though. Actually, I tried skating once last year, and again yesterday and again today. We have enough snow to cross country but not downhill YET. Maybe by next week. Yeah, I like downhill too, but not competitively. Just for fun. I used to run everyday after school, but the seasons over, and I'm skiing instead. But as soon as the snows gone,
I'll be back at it. Do you run competitively? I do. This year our school Cross country team went to zones in St. Paul, and Provincials in Ponoka. At zones I placed 9th out of 35 people, and at provincials I only finished 42nd, out of 65 people. But it was my best time. 12:52 for 3k. the first place time was 10 something. So I wasn't too far behind. Maybe next year.
Last summer I did a youth triathalon. We had to swim 500m bike 15km and run 5k. It was sort of easy. I placed 3rd. And the two people ahead of me in the swim were both on the swim team, so I guess I did alright. My run sucked though. I had a cramp the whole way. I was sort of P.O. This summer I might try the adult triathalon. Its a 1.5k swim 40k bike, and 10k run, I've covered all those distances before, just not all put together. And if I don't do it on my own, I'll do it on a team.
How old are you? I'm 15. What kind of music do you like? I listen to INXS U2 Genesis, and basicly everything except heavy metal. What kind of clothes do you wear? My favorites are gap and benetton. We don't have them here in fort mcmurray, so when I go to edmonton, i stock up.
