  11. Thank you for your reply.  Since Nova Scotia is on the east coast of Canada 
  12. and all parts are close to the sea our temperatures are nowhere near as cold 
  13. as central and northern Canada.  We will have several spells with the 
  14. temperature down about minus 14 Celsius and the wind chill makes the 
  15. temperature to the skin even colder (minus 25 - 30).  Most of the time in the 
  16. winter our daily temperature will be about minus four or five.

  18. I've just tried spacing the text: may have made a mess of it.  We have 91 
  19. children aged 5 - 11 in  our four-homeroom school. Primary and grade 1 - 29, 
  20. grade 2 & 3 - 18, grade 3 & 4 - 18 and 29 in grade 5 & 6 (my class: this is 
  21. the teacher Gordon Jeffery responding)  There are nine grade 6 children, all 
  22. aged 11 at the start of the year, except for one girl who was 10 and became 
  23. 11 on Sept. 15.  The grade 5 class of 17 children are mainly 10, with two 
  24. aged 12.********                                       You have a large class 
  25. - 38.  We are trying to get an IBM computer: at the moment we have a 
  26. Commodore 64.  Do you have any other Electronic Pals ?  We are new to this 
  27. work so any tips you have for us wwill be useful.
  28. The Wentworth Grade 5 and 6 children send greetings to the College Street 
  29. School Std. 3 and 4 class.  The children are hoping for snow so that they may 
  30. start skiing.  We have a good ski hill in our valley - many of the parents 
  31. work there during the winter.
  32. How many children are there in your school ?  What will your Christmas Day 
  33. be like - sunny and at the beach ?
