  23. the day when homosexual couples are allowed to adopt. As an adoptee 
  24. I can tell you that it is hard enough to go through your life wondering 
  25. all kinds of things; it takes years to overcome what adoption experts 
  26. call the "Primal Wound". I would not want to complicate that healing 
  27. process with the placement of children in the homes of homosexual 
  28. men or women.
  29.     As far as the rest of it, if you are legally married then I see

  31. no reason why the IRS wouldn't recognize a joint tax return, or a 
  32. joint checking account (esp. since you can have a joint account with 
  33. anyone even if you are not married). as for Real Estate have you ever 
  34. heard of two people buying a home together who were not married? I 
  35. have. It happens all the time.

  37.     Going back to the adoption issue again. I am also a birth mother.

  39. I have a son who lives in New York with his adoptive parents. I chose 
  40. them. I would NEVER allow the state to decide who got my child. I 
  41. have the added pleasure of having an "Open Adoption" relationship 
  42. with my son's parents. We write regularly and the adoptive mother 
  43. and I have become very good friends over the years. If I had even 
  44. the slightest inkling that my son would end up in the home of a 
  45. homosexual couple I would have never even considered the adoption 
  46. option {even though I know that my child needed special care I was 
  47. unable to provide for him}. I would rather die than see my child in 
  48. that environment.

  51.     And about HIV. You need to check up on that. I no longer refer

  53. to HIV as being the cause of AIDS because there have been many cases 
  54. of people who died of AIDS who did not have the HIV virus. (See a 
  55. last summer issue (can't remember the exact month) of Spin Magazine.) 
  56. The truth is they don't really know what causes AIDS and they are 
  57. not telling us everything that they do know. They = C.D.C. & W.H.O.
