  23. DESCRIPTION OF INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR:

  25. I'm using the distributed copy of groff compiled for DOS--it only knows
  26. how to produce -Tps and -Tascii output, so I'm using the Ghostscript
  27. package to do the PS==>HP PCL translation.  Setting .nr VS greater than
  28. or equal to 40 results in all the text appearing on the first possible
  29. printable line on the page, with vertical spacing appearing to be
  30. 0--all the lines print over each other.

  32. The problem is not in the PS==>PCL translation as it shows up when the
  33. PS file is previewed on-screen.

  35. Setting .nr VI to 39.99 produced correct output.
