- Hi, I hope somebody out there uses g++on an SGI...
-
- I ran into an error whil compiling libg++, it needs to use ranlib, but
- my SGI doesn't have the exec. I am not sure if ranlib is proprietary
- or not, but I would like to know I I can get around having to use it.
- I tried taking care of it in the Makefile in the root libg++-2.2 dir,
- but that didn't work. I am pretty sure the change has to be made at
- the 'configure' level, but I can't find a flag to turn off ranlib.
-
- Any ideas??
-
- personal e-mail would be the preferred response...
