  13. Hi, I hope somebody out there uses g++on an SGI...

  15. I ran into an error whil compiling libg++, it needs to use ranlib, but
  16. my SGI doesn't have the exec.  I am not sure if ranlib is proprietary
  17. or not, but I would like to know I I can get around having to use it.
  18. I tried taking care of it in the Makefile in the root libg++-2.2 dir,
  19. but that didn't work.  I am pretty sure the change has to be made at
  20. the 'configure' level, but I can't find a flag to turn off ranlib.
