  21.     I"m getting better at this...I'm actually getting somewhere
  22. with this thing.  Latest problem was with ranlib...except there is no
  23. such thing as ranlib on my machine...so, after some looking around in
  24. the 'config' directory, I make ranlib = true and that works no
  25. problem.

  29. gmake[1]: *** No way to make target `iostream/stamp'.  Stop.
  30. gmake: *** [all-libg++] Error 1

  32.     I've looked through the Makefile(s), especially the one in
  33. ~/iostream, and I cannot seem to reason out where it is trying to make
  34. 'stamp' :(
